Essential Oils for Spider Bites

Essential Oils for Spider Bites

If you know that the spider that bit you is not poisonous, you can help reduce swelling and itching.

If you are in an area in which the bite could be from a black widow or a brown recluse spider, seek emergency medical treatment.

ITCH RELIEVING BLEND

1 teaspoon rubbing alcohol

3 drops lavender essential oil

2 drops Roman chamomile essential oil

  1. Pour the alcohol into a small glass or ceramic bowl.
  2. Add the lavender and Roman chamomile essential oils to the alcohol, and stir to combine.
  3. Using cotton ball, apply the blend to the spider bite.
  4. Repeat this treatment up to 5 times a day until the swelling and itching are reduced.

I hope this is helpful to you!
