Essential Oils for Stretch Marks

This is a common problem us women struggle with our skin. But what if there is a way to fade them?

To help restore elasticity, heal damaged skin cells, and accelerate the growth of new cells, essential oils can be used on the pink or brown lines that appear on the abdomen, buttocks, hips, legs, or breasts.

 

 

RUB

2 tablespoons sweet almond carrier oil

1 tablespoon wheat germ carrier oil

5 drops carrot carrier oil

10 drops borage seed essential oil

7 drops rose essential oil

6 drops lavender essential oil

5 drops tangerine essential oil

  1. Pour the sweet almond, wheat germ, and carrot carrier oils into a small glass or ceramic bowl.
  2. Add the borage seed, rose, lavender, and tangerine essential oils to the carrier oils, and stir to combine.
  3. Pour the blend into a dark colored glass bottle that closes tightly, and store the bottle in the refrigerator between uses.
  4. Using your fingertips, apply a small amount to the stretch marks, and massage it into the skin.

 

HEALING CREAM

1 ounce cocoa butter

12 drops tangerine essential oil

4 drops jasmine essential oil

  1. Place cocoa butter into a small glass or ceramic bowl.
  2. Add the tangerine and jasmine essential oils to the cocoa butter, and stir to combine.
  3. Pour the blend into a dark colored glass bottle that closes tightly, and store the bottle in the refrigerator between uses.
  4. Using your fingertips, apply a small amount to your stretch marks, and massage it into the skin.
  5. Repeat this 2 times a day until marks fade.

 

ADDITIONAL HELPFUL TIPS:

  1. Drink plenty of water
  2. Avoid fast food, high sugars/sugar free and preservatives.
  3. Take a picture every week while trying these recipes of the marks you’re trying to get rid of. Sometimes when we see our selves every day we don’t notice the changes until you have the pictures in front of us.
